There’s a handful of art galleries in the city but this is the one to see. Right on Merrion Square West, you’ll find the national collection of home-grown Irish works along with a range of other pieces from the continent, including The Taking of Christ by Caravaggio. Entry is free, it’s centrally located and the works here are quite fascinating so you’ve no reason not to go and check out the best of what Ireland has to offer the world of art!
