Very poor overall. The hotels beautiful and the rooms large with good facilities and kept very clean and tidy, top marks to the cleaning staff. The food is okay. Unfortunatley the staff themselves are often extremely rude, unhelpful and unwelcoming. They appear to try to con you by charging "inflated" prices. (As an example whilst there we were charged four different prices for a pint of Guinness). The hotel is too far from the centre and in the middle of a business estate. The leisure facilities are good but again the staff try their best to stop you using them (Be warned extra charge for shower cap, locker key and towel, which are not on the website). The feeling of being conned even extends to paying the hotel bill where the staff tried to charge us a higher price than agreed when booked and they only relented when we showed them a print out of the agreed charge from this website. I have never come across such an unwelcoming place in my life. Honestly avoid, your better off paying more and going to a hotel in central dublin.

Our room had only a ceiling window with no way of opening it. Found the bar to be cold and uninviting and the staff very grumpy.

The room was very cold ; The excuse was that the heating was off ; I got a four week flu out of it ; Every thing else was excellent . I stay in Dublin an average of once a month as i am a director with R.E.C.I. Our offices are in Kimmage so i stay as near to there as possible . This is my eight year attending meetings . Sheldon Park hotel was excellent my only reservation would be the safety of cars having said that we had no problem with our car.

Excellent restuarant and restaurant staff.

Location really suited for attending a concert in Kilmainham - just a short taxi ride away and promimity to Luas for Heuston station was also really helpful .Would have been better if breakfast was included in overnight rate.

Nice hotel. Wireless internet should be included for the whole stay though.
