The Royal Dublin Hotel is a classic Georgian style hotel conveniently located on Dublin’s main thoroughfare - O’Connell Street. The hotel itself is an elegant old building oozing the charm and character of a bygone era, and upon entry you’ll find it has a certain authentic feel about it. There are some 120 rooms at the hotel, many of which have just been refurbished and they're pretty comfortable efforts decked out in cool pastel colours with en-suite facilities and a decent range of modern amenities.

It has excellent conference facilities for the business traveller with three massive rooms each with its own mini bar, and there’s also a popular restaurant and brasserie called the Café Royale. There's a good a la carte menu to choose from here as well as a substantial full Irish breakfasts in the morning. They cater for vegetarians and are known for having a very good and comprehensive wine list.

The hotel’s bar is called Raffles and it’s a relaxed affair, popular with locals and tourists alike. There's a friendly atmosphere here and it's a nice spot to have a drink. It also offers a decent carvery menu.
