Clean, very basic accommodation. 4 flights of stairs to get to room!! Room tiny, but adequate. Dodgy fan in bathroom. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast generous. Did not have evening meals, or us the bar. In room 411, you do not hear the bar music, which apparently goes on until 2 or 3 in the morning!!

Staff in Bar very abrupt and total lack of customer service skills. This was a dampner on very good weekend in Dublin. Location is ideal for young couple going clubbing etc. Friendly in the main hotel, accomidation was basic but very clean.

The Hotel was extremely easy to find when we got off the Luas stop at Jervis Street, straight across the Liffey and we were there! The Hotel itself is well located and we got the standard of room we expected for a budget hotel. Downside is the very noisy bar, we were not expecting loud live music on a Wednesday night which even caused the floorboards to vibrate in our room, and we didnt go to bed early either! I would advise ear plugs or a good sleeping tablet if you want to get to sleep.

while staying at the hotel the room door did not lock. therefor forcing us to bring all our valuables with us while going to a party bash that night.on telling the receptionist she appologised but i feel that paying 135euro for a night, that this was unacceptable.further more the hotel had no car park forcing us to stay in an overnight car park. this cost a further 24 euro which was including a discount as the ticket for the car park was stamped by the hotel. this would have cost 37 euro. i would not be recomending this hotel to any of my family or friends. regards anne and raymond grehan.

If you expect to get some sleep - don't even stay there. As the location is very central and in Temple Bar - area is always full of happy noisy people and it is impossible to fall asleep before 4:30am. As a place for party - great choice! I stayed in sinlge room - very small but had everything I needed and very nice, clean bathroom. I would definately change cover on the bed, but overall I can't complain.

Its in an ideal spot for sightseeing and the bars, buy not with a young family as there is a lot of noise. There is a club next to the hotel and an internet cafe opposite so you wont get much sleep! everything in the hotel was clean and tidy breakfast was fab, staff were nice and informative. We enjoyed our stay there but thought it was very expensive for the facilties we got.

An average hotel, with an excellent location, but this can be sometimes a disadvantage because of the noise people partying in nearby pubs and bars make at night.

Unfortunately, I would have to say I wouldn't stay there again. The staff were friendly, and linen was clean, however, it was very, very noisy perhaps because of the location in Temple Bar. I think the hotel would be more suited to a lads weekend!

It is not fancy, a bit run down, but the free breakfast was very good. My room adjoined a club that had a band playing until 11 pm, lucky for me it was a Thursday night rather than a Fri. or Sat. I wanted to get to sleep.

The hotel is right in the centre of Temple Bar. Temple Bar is packed with bars and night-clubs. The place doesn't sleep. If you are going to Dublin for a boozy weekend and intend to have a place where you can just pass out this is the place for you. If you wish to have any sleep then don't stay here! The staff were lovely and the rooms were adequate for a budget hotel.

Everything was as we expected. Great location right in centre of things, Temple Bar. All reviews are correct if you get a room overlooking front of hotel you will not get to sleep before 4am. Why can people not smoke quietly? Clean comfortable staff very knowledgable and friendly and breakfast lovely. Very good value for money.

The only bad thing I experienced was the noise from the bar. The brochure said that the rooms were soundproof, that's not true. It didn't bother me that much though....

The staff was very helpful, they were all very nice. And the hotel very well located in Temple Bar, Dublin. The rooms were not great, the heating wasn't functioning, so the rooms was very cold at night, and the cleaning quiet bad.

Excellent service and excellent staff. I have one issue - minutes after I booked the room, I rang the hotel and asked for disabled facilities, specifically wheelchair access in the shower and "armrests" at the toilet. I was travelling with my dad, who is in a wheelchair and not able to get out of it. We had booked at this particular hotel, because they had disabled facilities. Unfortunately the disabled facilities consisted only of a platic stool that could be squeezed into a showercabin, that had a 10 cm high list making it imposibble to access in a wheelchair. No armrests for thetoilet either. I think the staff was aware of this problem as soon as my dad and I checked in, but they did not address it in any other way than giving us extremely good service for the whole of our stay. Still, the room was unsuitable as a disabled room.

The RiverHouse Hotel is very central. There is often music in the bar so rooms can be full of music early but I find it fine for centre Dublin. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I don't frequent bars.

The hotel was basic, we booked as a last resort as we were going to a match in Dublin and could not find any accommodation. The room was tiny - could not swing a cat in it and the bathroom was iffy to say the least! The room was clean however i must say. I wouldnt advise staying here if your not completely hammered (which we were) as you will not sleep, the walls are like paper and there's a nite club next door. It was great however to walk off Temple Bar and get into your bed! The staff were lovely, polite and helpful however at 180 euro for one nite is was a rip off but it was the only room left in Dublin so we didnt mind!
