Lynams is like a home away from home, and the staff were very friendly, and helpful, we were in room 43, it is at the top of the building at the back, it was lovely and quite, you would not believe you were in the heart of dublin, the resturant staff, were busy, and it took time to get service, but the food was great, I would stay there again.

The Lynams Hotel is a nice point to start your visits to the city, near the busstop of the airport coach. Well situated at a beautiful avenue, with many opportunities for shopping, eating and culture. We met gentle people in and outside the hotel.

Ideal location in the centre of Dublin. When we arrived we were told the hotel was overbooked & that they had arranged for us to go to another hotel, which was a good ten mins walk. We complained about this and Lynams agreed to give us a twin room in replace for the double room we had booked.

Two light bulbs which were not working were replaced immediately and pleasantly. Hotel staff were very accommodating to keep our luggage until it was time to leave for the airport

We were a group of 5 females...two sisters (50's), their daughters (20's and 30's) and 1 granddaughter (5 yrs.) traveling through western and southern Ireland. Lynams Hotel has friendly and helpful staff for all the ages. We enjoyed the ambience and location of the hotel and the sitting room on the 2nd floor was wonderful. Dublin is a great city!!!!

We enjoyed the internet free access, the room was small but really cute and homey, like the rest of the hotel itself. We didn't like the service in the restaurant, waitress always in a bad mood, unkind, we had to ask several times for our coffee/tea. We didn't have breakfast included, but we bought it at the hotel restaurant anyways... and we didn't get the orange juice, although it was included and we asked. Reception staff very kind.

Obviously a fantastic location however, windows were filthy and I couldnt close it as it was stiff (old style). Very noisy at front due to O Connell St. Over all though very good value.

Lynams is in the middle of O'Connell Street so a perfect location for us who were about 15min walk away from Croke Park stadium. In the other direction a 15 min walk brings you into Temple Bar area. Rooms quite small and basic, staff very helpful and a nice wee restaurant/bar attached to hotel. Would definitley visit again.
