Overview
Lynam's Hotel is a fantastic 3 star accommodation right in the heart of Dublin. It's located on O'Connell Street so you really couldn't be better placed for sightseeing and shopping.
The hotel itself is housed in two listed Georgian townhouses. The houses were in fact, owned by a Mr. Frederick Tilly who was the inventor of the 'Tilly Lamp'. Later in the 1820's No.63 was occupied by the Royal Bank. In the 1870's the bank expanded into the adjoining building and that was when the hotel's Victorian façade was established.
The hotel's interior is modern but some of it's décor and furnishing reflect the hotel's Georgian era, especially the hotel's bar – the O'Connell Room. It also has 42 comfortable guestrooms and a modern style Italian restaurant on the ground floor.
The staff at the 24 hour reception desk are always on hand to help you with any aspect of your stay in Dublin.
