The hotel room and bathroom were very clean and bright but as it was ground floor was there was no bathroom blind which made it awkward. As I booked online I did not reserve a parking space and did not know that I had to as the spaces are limited. On the plus side we were pleased with the room/staff and facilities. The breakfast menu was good and it was well cooked and enjoyable. We would stay there again as it is very central for a short sightseeing/shopping stay. The price too was very reasonable. I have already recommended it to family and friends.

We were only at the St George for one one night - late in and early out so very difficult to give an informed appraisal.

Large old town house/guest house style. Nice location. Had a bit of character. Lot of stairs.

The hotel was lovely, we got a room to hold 4 which was very comfortably and the staff were very nice. The only problem I could find was that there car park was very small.

I stayed in a ground floor room presumingly because I arrived late. Ask for other but option given was floor 5 and small. Carpet was stained in my room. Ceiling in shower was flaking. Sausages at breakfast were not very fresh.Hotel is being renovated so i presume that they will get to ground floor.They noted my complaint about room. Location excellent so hotel looks like it could have been used a lot by stagg party goers.No luggage room but was poosible to leave luggage in open lounge area. They have a lot of security cameras but told me that i WAS LEAVING IT AT MY OWN RISK. Would probably stay again if I got the same rate. Would not pay anymore.
