Hotel Isaacs

The Hotel Isaacs has a fantastic Italian restaurant - Il Vignardo's. Just wait until you step inside - it's a complete surprise. It's dark and cavernous with the most amazing ceiling of hand painted grape vines. You really feel like you're in a vineyard in Tuscany! If you don't actually eat there, it's worth having a look. The kitchen is open so you can see the chefs at work.

If the weather's fine, the restaurant is extended out onto the courtyard. This is a very nice paved, sheltered garden area - a lovely spot in fine weather but has heater for the colder days. It's also open to the public and can seat up to 120 people - including the garden.

The Italian dishes on offer are top class and it's well worth eating here during your stay. There's pizza and pasta 'Happy Hour' daily from 5.30 - 7.30pm. Lunch is served from 12pm - 3pm, while dinner is from 5.30pm - 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday and 5:30 to 11pm on Thursday and Saturday.

A cold buffet breakfast, with hot food served to the table, is available every morning between 7:30am and 10:30am (8am - 11am at the weekend and on bank holidays) in Il Vignardo's Restaurant.

If breakfast is not included in you rate it costs around EUR7.95 for a continental and roughly EUR9.95 for a cooked breakfast. You will get a breakfast voucher at reception when you check in that allows you a discount.

Breakfast can also be ordered to your room if you're feeling the after affects of all that sight seeing. Place your order the night before and it'll cost around EUR3.00 extra to have it delivered.

The hotel bar, Le Monde Café Bar, is another surprise - if you're looking for something a little different - this is the place. For starters the oak bar is topped with highly polished brass. All the furniture is deep red leather with mahogany tables. The walls are oak panelled and have beautiful gold mosaic panels that reflect the light.

It's located on the ground floor to the right of the restaurant entrance. As it's open to the public it can also be accessed from the street. It's also great for light lunches as well as speciality coffees and wines. There are three flat screen TV's and there's also background music.

Hotel Isaacs has a number of car parking spaces available for guests. There is a daily charge of EUR10.00 and it's recommended to prebook as spaces are limited.

If you've come on business the hotel has 6 meeting rooms. The largest can take up to 100 people and has high spec audio-visual equipment

The hotel has a lift and there's wheelchair access to all public areas. As well as this there are 3 wheelchair accessible rooms.

There's wireless internet access in the lobby - you can buy a card at reception

Other facilities include 24-hour room service, a night porter and there's always someone at reception to assist you in any way they can.

Hotel Isaacs has a check in time of 2pm and a check out time of 11am.

There's a nightclub underneath the hotel so the street can get a bit noisy at the weekends - its location is absolutely fantastic though.
