The Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel Dublin is located in Killiney, County Dublin. Overlooking the Irish Sea and Dublin Bay, the hotel is very close to the ferry port at Dun Laoghaire with its ferry route to Holyhead in Wales. Both Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey have plenty of restaurants and pubs so you don’t have to travel into the city to enjoy some real Irish nightlife. However the city is just over 14 kms away so you'll have little trouble getting in and out to go shopping and seeing the sights throughout the city centre.

Nearest Luas / DART: From the city centre there is a southbound DART line out to Dalkey which is less than a kilometre from Killiney. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Dalkey Station taking the following directions. When you exit the station go left over the bridge and then take another left. Take the next right onto Cunningham Road. Keep to the right along this road until you come to a crossroad, then take a left for Dalkey Avenue where you'll find the hotel. If you've a lot of luggage you might prefer to get a taxi at from Dalkey Village. It should cost you around EUR6.00.

Nearest Mainline Station: The Dublin to Rosslare line passes close by, stopping at the nearby Dun Laoghaire with its ferry port; the line continues south towards Bray and onward.

Nearest Bus Stop: On Killiney Hill road there is a bus stop that serves the line No. 59 which connects Dun Laoghaire and Mackintosh Park. Both of these stops serve the 7A line which can get you into the city centre.

Dublin International Airport on the other side of the city is about 20 kilometres away; it is easily accessible by car over the M50 and the hotel does a chauffeur car from the airport on request. You also have the option of taking the number 746 bus from Dublin Airport to Dun Laoghaire. To get to Killiney Village take the number 59 bus from the Pavilion Theatre. This bus will stop at the hotel.
