The Dublin Skylon Hotel is a 3 star hotel located on Upper Drumcondra Road to the north of Dublin city centre (about a 10 minute walk to O'Connell Street) and it's particularly handy for Croke Park Stadium.

The hotel sits in off a busy road behind a perimeter wall with black railings and it's almost like an office block building to look at from the outside. As you walk in you'll notice the lobby area is huge and there are loads of couches and armchairs to sit and relax in.

The reception desk is in the corner and straight ahead is the Fayre City Bistro. You can also access The Cosmopolitan Bar from the lobby, off to your right as you come in the main entrance.

We found the guest rooms to be a decent enough size and the rooms that we saw had all the facilities that you'd expect from a 3-star hotel - and they're kept really clean and to a good standard as well.
