We found the twin/double rooms in Days Inn Rathmines to all be reasonably spacious and of a good standard. It's impossible to not be wowed by the deep blue colour of the back wall as you walk in and this sets the tone nicely for what we thought were comfortable and well equipped rooms.

All twin/double rooms have bedside lockers with table lamps, good sized wardrobes, a work-desk and mirror, tea & coffee facilities, phone with voicemail, modem point, electric heating control, cable TV, DVD player (bring your own DVDs though), hairdryer and an iron & ironing board.

The ensuites were a decent enough size as well and included a bath with power shower (great for waking you up!), a heated towel rail and of course a full length mirror to perfect your appearance. There are toiletries available and hotel staff told us that if you forget items such as toothpaste, hairbrush, deodorants, etc. they'd be more than happy to get some for you.

There are also 29 suites available or as the hotel like to call them 'work zones'. Now these are really spacious and have a kitchenette (with a microwave, fridge, cutlery), a work desk, large couch and armchairs, TV, and all the other in-room facilities.

This room is separated from the bedroom area by a sliding door so it really does give a feeling of being in your own apartment. The colour scheme is the same as the twin/double rooms but the ensuite is definitely larger and has all the standard amenities as well.
