Days Inn Rathmines is a 3 star hotel located a good 20 to 25 minute walk from Dublin city centre - loads of bus connections just outside the hotel, so it's really easy to get to the heart of Dublin.

The hotel bar/nightclub is the ultra-trendy Tram Co., which is a very popular spot with the locals and is also a good place for bite to eat.

There is a total of 37 standard rooms and we found that they really are decent sized rooms. All rooms have a good level of facilities. There are also 29 suites (or as the hotel calls them, work-zones), which offer that extra bit of space and comfort.

Days Inn blends into the local street buildings almost too well - here's our tip, look up and you'll see the 'Days Hotel' sign sticking out from the wall. The reception area is smallish but is nicely decorated with some striking artwork on the walls.

As you come in the front door you'll see the tea and coffee machines for guests use to your left, so you can grab a cup and sink into the comfy armchairs that are placed at the full length windows - all in all, a really nice place to relax and watch the busy street activity.
