I was very happily impressed and have recommened the hotel to many friends and family. It was well located outside of the immediate hustle and bustle of Dublin while still within easy access to down town by public transit. The hotel itself was very well decorated both in the common areas as well as in the rooms themselves. The staff we all very polite and responsive. I thought it was excellent.

We enjoyed our one night at Clontarf immensely. The staff was delightful. We took a walk around the block and found two of our family names in the cemetary - we could see some sort of tower behind the castle and set out to find it and found the cemetary. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Dublin. I was a little dissappointed that the NEW part wasn't created to be more look-a-like to the period of the history of the castle, even though it was done very nicely.

I thought it was a very friendly and clean hotel, very comfortable.

Although only a short stay, really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel and service was good.

The map the Dublin airport was not east to follow and the roads were not well signed in the predawn darkness so we circled Dublin for over an hour until we found the airport. Better directions would be most helpful.

Beautifully presented hotel. Courteous, helpful staff. An ATM would be good for customers convenience though.

The hotel was very pleasant and homely the staff were friendly. It was like going back in time but with modern facilities.

Would have liked to seen some of the original castle, eg. dungeon and tower. Quite a built up area around the castle which was not expected.
