Overview
The Clarion Hotel IFSC is a 4 star hotel in the financial docklands district of Dublin. Whether you're in town for business or leisure purposes this hotel is perfect. It's really easy to get to Dublin's main tourist attractions from here with O'Connell Street only about a 20 minute walk away.
It has a fantastic setting overlooking the River Liffey and has some wonderful views of Dublin. On the outside it's a modern glass fronted building, the entrance to which is on North Wall Quay. Inside, the lobby area is really spacious with high ceilings and a nice neutral decor (minimalist in style) while there's loads of natural light due to the building's glass-front. There are four reception desks so you can avoid any long queues when checking in or out.
There's a comfortable lounge area, namely Savour Lounge, just of the reception area to the left of the hotel entrance. It's cut off from the reception area by oak beams and is open all day - it's actually used as the residents lounge at night. There's another seating area just beyond reception on the way to the bar (Sinergie Kudos Bar).
The hotel also boasts an excellent standard of accommodation in its 160 guest bedrooms. And it's not lacking in leisure facilities either with the Sanovitae Health & Fitness Club and if you're bringing the car there's secure parking available for a fee.
All in all we found this hotel to be really good - comfortable, clean and modern accommodation at good value for money close to the city centre, oh, and the staff are very helpful as well.
