The Clarion Hotel Dublin Airport is a handy and very practical hotel located within the Dublin Airport complex and just minutes from the actual terminal building. And there's a free shuttle service that operates 24 hours a day to take you to and from the hotel.

The hotel itself has a fairly average exterior but when you get inside the staff are helpful and the lobby area has recently been renovated creating quite a welcoming atmosphere. It’s modernly decorated and there are some 248 rooms in total of various sizes, all of which are clean, comfortable and pretty spacious. Cream walls, large floor space and a work desk along with decent en-suite facilities make the rooms a good standard, and you’ll get a range of modern guest amenities.

There’s a very well designed bar and restaurant area, both of which are called Kudos. The restaurant offers a carvery style meal at lunch and an a la carte menu, and in the morning a buffet breakfast is served here as well. The bar is a relaxed spot with TVs so you can catch up on the sport and enjoy a quiet drink.

All in all it’s a decent quality hotel, and it goes without saying that its convenience to the airport makes it ideal if you are flying in late and need a place to stay or you have an early flight to catch. You’ll also get free use of the local gym and leisure centre which is just a few minutes walk away, while the range of business services are very good making it a good choice for the business traveller.
