There are some 69 en suite rooms spread across three floors at Buswells Hotel, and it must be said they are pretty elegant and stylish in keeping with the rest of the hotel. As is often the case with old world style guesthouses from a Victorian or Georgian era, the size and shape of the room can vary according to where it’s placed in the hotel, so expect some degree of difference.

However, the rooms are clean, smart and again very much of a traditional, authentic character, with a really good range of modern guest amenities to remind you that you're in the 21st century after all! The rooms, all of them serviced by lifts, are characterised by expensive and classy dark wooden furniture, old paintings and high ceilings, while the beds are comfy and large.

Each room has a TV, a direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities so you can get your cuppa before you start the day and there's a hairdryer in the en suite. Room service is available until 10pm, while additional amenities include a trouser press, an iron and ironing board, WiFi Internet access which is pretty important these days if you need to work off the laptop in the evenings and a same day laundry service. There are also rooms with access for people with disabilities.
