Facilities
The hotel has an excellent restaurant called Truman’s which is one of the better kept culinary secrets of the city. Here you’ll find an expert staff of award winning chefs who can boast their own trademark blend of Irish and international dishes. The food is gorgeous and certainly unique, while the ambience of the restaurant is cool, with soft lighting and somewhat traditional, old world décor to give the place a really relaxing feel.
You’ll also get a full slap up Irish breakfast between 7am and 10am (7.30 am to 10.30 am at the weekends) that’s tasty and big enough to set you up for the day. Of course there's the option of going for the more Continental style cold buffet if the morning fry isn’t your thing.
There’s also a decent bar at the hotel, again very much in an old style with soft lighting, a large open fireplace and an intimate feel. It’s a charming little spot that’s frequented by both locals and patrons of the hotel who enjoy its relaxed atmosphere. Of course for a bigger night out you can always head over to the fast flowing social and musical scene at Temple Bar.
Buswells Hotel has a full gym with cardiovascular machines if you feel you have to burn off some of those excess calories. There's also free parking between 5.30 pm and 9.30 am at a nearby public car park - it’s handy to know the hotel will sort you out with secure parking for free.
There's also a large conference room for business meetings, whilst the helpful staff will carry out a number of business services for you. The hotel is also well equipped for wedding receptions.
